“What are noise walls?”

A noise wall is a structure designed to deflect sound coming from areas with high levels of noise away from adjacent homes or businesses. These walls are often located along major highways to reduce road noise. For example, we built a noise wall along the Pa Turnpike.

The Pa Turnpike wall has a foundation made from drilled shafts and steel beams. These beams are typically placed at the base of the shaft and reach the height of the wall. Panels are set in place between these beams to act as a buffering medium which reduces incoming noise.

If you need a noise wall constructed for your project, contact us for an estimate.
